Michel Lopez, referent of Circular Economy & Waste in the French National Railway Company (SNCF)
As a Geographer and holder of a Master’s Degree in Environment, Michel Lopez has more than 36 years of experience in railway and road passenger transport (in local government) and in environment, first in engineering projects in Ile de France and on the TGV Lyon-Turin.
Since 201O, he is the referent of Circular Economy & Waste in the French National Railway Company (SNCF), within the Sustainable Development Department.
In this capacity, he represents SNCF within the Orée association as administrator, Vice-President of “Company and Recycling Business Clubs”; he coordinates especially the FRIVEP project – Re-employment / Industrial Recycling of Professional Clothes, one of the first five French Green deal.
Andreas Röhrich, Director of Product Development and Research/ Textile Sourcing – Wolford AG
A graduate in textile and garment engineering at the Hoehere Technische Lehranstalt in Dornbirn, Andreas is the Director of Product Development and Textile Sourcing at Wolford AG, where he has started his carrier back in 1989 and has, over the years, covered various position in the Products and Knitting departments, gathering an unquestionable knowledge of all production phases.
During his carrier with Wolford he has strongly contributed to expand the company’s innovatory DNA creating some of the most iconic and widely recognize Wolford signature pieces such as the StarckNude – in collaboration with Philippe Starck, the first glued tights or the unique system that allows the elastic waist band to be adjusted to the wearers` needs.
All of Wolford`s production activities begin with a fine yarn – being oil based, man made or natural – his sourcing experience has pushed Wolford to become the catalyst to accelerate the change needed in the clothing industry, having spent the last three years immerse in quest for sustainable solutions.
